Calm & Connect: Pop Up Events

Join Rachel Tenenbaum of I AM Living for an hour of community connection, rich conversation and meditation.

An event that began in March 2020 and ran for 72 straight weeks, Calm & Connect is currently offered as a pop-up monthly event. In so many ways, the Calm & Connect Community became a family that brings in and embraces new members each week - and we would love for you to join!

Why Meditation:

Right now over 94% of individuals feel that they are drowning in stress and there is very little that supports both the mind and body.

Meditation is an incredible asset, supporting the health of our mind, body and spirit. Meditation enables the ability to shift perspectives, to stay grounded, and not get caught up in the mental mania so that we can not only survive, but thrive.

Meditation also fosters kindness and compassion, something we cannot get enough of right now. In the words of the Dalai Lama, deeply familiar with pain, struggle, and crisis, at a young age: “Love and Kindness are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, we will not survive.”

Meditation enables us to connect more deeply to ourselves and ultimately the world around us.

Meditation reduces stress, combats anxiety and depression, and boosts the immune system (vs. stress which conversely depresses the immune system.)

Meditation creates fertile ground for neural plasticity AND aids in overall contentment.

SET UP:

We’ll come together, ground. I’ll guide everyone through a 10-15 minute meditation, followed by time to connect as a collective across the Americas & the globe. We’ll finish with a quote to inspire and keep the positive momentum going.
